James Dolgin, Polymer Engineer, Joins DiPole Materials’ Expert Team
Dolgin, formerly Applications Engineer with Pixelligent, currently is a Venture for America Fellow Based in Baltimore
DiPole Materials, LLC, a life science company that creates 3D nanofiber-based cell scaffolds for 3D cell culture and bioprinting, today announced the hiring of James Dolgin, a polymer engineer with experience in creating new materials for diverse applications.
Dolgin’s background and experience includes inventing nanomaterials for inkjet-printed display systems at Pixelligent Technologies and designing bio-based flame retardants for the construction industry.

Dolgin earned a BS in Polymer Science and Engineering at Case Western Reserve University. He is based in Baltimore as a Venture for America (VFA) fellow. As an Applications Engineer at Pixelligent, Dolgin developed high-refractive index nanomaterials for increasing light output of OLED devices. He also designed studies to improve solid-state lighting material properties based on end use.
With DiPole, Dolgin will combine his technical and business background to develop new products, find new nanofiber solutions for customers and refine existing products on the market.
